VENTRILO DOWNLOAD, INSTALLATION, AND SETUP
1. Open your preferred internet browser. Example: Internet Explorer, Avant Browser, or FireFox.
2. In your address bar, type the following…www.ventrilo.com
3. Make your way to the downloads page
4. Next locate the Clients section
5. Save the ventrillo install file to where ever you want. (but remember where you put it you will need it after its done downloading.)
6. Now locate your saved install file.
7. Run the file by double clicking on the ventrilo-2.3.0-Windows-i386.exe file.
8. Now click the Run button.
9. Follow through with the installation.
10. DONE! Congrats!! Now for the setup.
11. Now click your START button, then click your All Programs button, go to your Ventrillo folder, then click the Ventrillo icon in the folder.
12. If this is your first time using Ventrillo, ignore the window that asks if you want to “read the online tutorial”.
13. Now you will see the program. Click the button next to the dropdown menu.
14. Click new and put in your name, your real name. For me I would put Brian. (don’t forget to spell your name in the Phonetic line as well)
15. Next click the button next to the server dropdown box.
16. Click the NEW button and add the server information. Such as IP, Port, Username and Password then click ok.
Done and Done, congrats!
